Garmarna - Brun
This is actually one that started the Halloween Music from YouTube for me. Another blogger who has long stopped posting was doing the videos for Halloween. This was one of them that they shared.

Missing Halloween
Taking a break from the Halloween Music Videos, I give you a Halloween Animation. I believe this is the original one. Kind of creepy, kind of thought provoking. Enjoy!
Concrete Blonde - Ghost of a Texas Ladies Man
I used to be a huge fan of Concrete Blonde. Only got to see them in concert once. But, they had a bit of a gothic edge to their music. I don't recall them having many music videos, but I was able to track this one down on YouTube for Halloween.

Night On Bald Mountain - Fantasia (1941) (Theatrical Cut)
This copy seems a little bit off from what I remember of the original presentation. We do have Fantasia on DVD around here... somewhere. I'm not going to lie, the last time I saw this was when it was in the theater.
But it is a classic.

Transylvanian Lullaby - arranged and performed by Erutan (katethegreat19)
More Halloween music! This time, from Young Frankenstein, it is the Transylvanian Lullaby as arranged by Erutan.

I've had a love for Blackmore's Night since I first heard it. Here is a fan animation of their song "Hanging Tree."
Mystery Skulls Animated - Freaking Out
I couldn't get this to display properly last night. Let me set this one here.

Mystery Skulls Animated - Ghost
Well, Halloween approaches. So I thought I'd start finding some "spooky" videos. I'll start with the MysteryBen27 video of "Ghost" by Mystery Skulls.
I'll also try to include a link to "Freaking Out," the continuation of this story.

RUSH LIMBAUGH READS MEGAN FOX'S ARTICLE
Here is the article that explains it. PJ Media: Youtuber demonetized just hours after Rush Limbaugh reads her article on his show.
The problem is that YouTube (and Google) have a monopoly on the new free speech on the internet. If you agree or disagree on their words, well, free speech isn't just about hearing what you want to hear. But YouTube shouldn't take money away from people "just because." Many gun bloggers have been demonetized by YouTube. It's not a good thing to fight free speech like this.

Popehat: Talking productively about guns
A horrible thing happened in Vegas this weekend. I should post something commemorating the victims, but I have no readers to my blog.
On the Book of Face, many of my friends are posting the normal leftist vitrol. For the most part, I try to not respond to my friends posts if they are blatantly extremist. Today I made a mistake and asked a question.
Long story short, I am now researching issues with CDC gun violence research. Sadly Google only finds left wing stories, and I can't find the actual articles from certain authors even by using the proper keywords. Eh.
So, I found this article by Popehat. I'll post it for reading.

Officer Killed Deputy Dinkheller
Use of force. There is a lot of talk of the "Ferguson Effect." In the 90's a deputy stopped a man who went back to his truck and got a rifle. The minute that rifle came out leathal force was authorized. The deputy tried to talk the suspect down, but was instead murdered.

Well, this is a stupid article.
Police are powerless to remove an online suicide video.
Why is it stupid? It's claiming that the police can not remove a video of a 12 year old girl committing suicide.
Well, duh! Polk County PD (Georgia) only has authority in Polk County. They do not have National nor International authority. What they are doing is requesting that the various websites take down the video after it is posted, which those websites are doing.
On that note, court orders can be requested, but they only work on each individual event. Not a broad brush ban.
Now why can't they just block everything all at once? Because once it's on the internet, it is out there forever. Anyone can make a copy and post it on almost any social media website. And if they have their own copy of the video/photo/music/et al., they can just upload it whenever they want. At this point, it becomes a game of Whack-A-Mole.
